The VW-382 mount enables a KP2200 to be securely housed on a HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) during a forcible entry parachute assault mission. To date, the VW-382 mount has successful protected the KP2200 on all C-130 heavy drop operations in which it has been used. In all cases the KP2200 has provided access to classified resources within minutes of the HMMWV being recovered on the drop zone. WAN connectivity has been established using the Explorer 325 and 727 antennas for data On-the-move operations. The VW-382 extends vehicle power to the KP2200 via screw-in polarity agnostic terminals. ‘BLACK’, ‘RED’ and VoIP data interfaces are extended from the 2200 to rugged data ports, accessible to operators on the vehicle.
