4600 - Power
Figure 8 provides an overview of the KP4600 power design. KP-PSU-100 combined with batteries in KP1400 and KP2160 modules provide the following power conditioning features:
- KP-PSU-100 converts AC 90-264V 47-63 Hz to 12V (R400 and R401)
- Minimum 50 minute battery backup is provided for all components via internal and user-replaceable batteries in KP1400 and KP2160 (R402)
- 2 NEMA 5-15 AC outlets are provided on top plane of KP-PSU-100 for pass-through power when AC input is connected (R403)
- DC input range of 9-16V is filtered and converted to 12V for internal use (R400)
Operation from 12V external input is supported via the included adapter (R405)
- The KP1400, KP2160 and KP-PSU-100 modules will be enclosed in individual metal chassis. Each chassis will be provisioned with a ground point which is electrically isolated from the electronics or any power within the module. The electrical isolation and any creepage and clearance requirements will be in line with the requirements as per UL60950. (R404)
- The power plug on the KP4600 will be an ICE C14 as per a standard desktop power supply. The grounding pin of this connector will be internally connected to the chassis of the KP4600 Power Module. (R404)
