Our in-house Mechanical Engineering Department utilizes the latest state-of-the art tools to ensure each product is designed to exceed our customer's requirements.
From the early concept stage straight through to the end product's rigorous testing, every detail is scrutinized to ensure it's design is fit-for-purpose.
Concepts are developed using industry-standard 3D CAD software, these models are then progressed to prototypes and final products using the same software tools.
Product development involves our Engineers working closely with our manufacturing partners, exchanging 3D CAD data where possible, to ensure the final parts manufactured truly meet the design intent. Working primarily from CAD data can ensure that no shop-floor mis-interpretations of drawings occur that could lead to faults down the line. Prototypes are built in our in-house Engineering Lab where they also go through extensive fit and functional testing. Local approved labs are used for FCC, UL, CE & MIL-STD-810 testing. Product improvements often come about as a result of the initial prototype testing, these improvements are then fed through the same development process before final release to production. All these enhancements, testing and continuous development leads to products that are engineered to last.
