In May 2004, Klas discontinued sales of the KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA version 1.0.

All KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA cards supplied by Klas prior to May 2004 will be KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA v1.0 cards.

The format of the serial number (found on the back of the card) is a 10 digit alpha-numeric code i.e. 1BBl501074.

The connector slot of the KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA v1.0 is located on the left-hand side of the card (see pictured above).

The connector for the KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA v1.0 is pictured below. Compare this picture with the connector on your KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA to determine which version of the card you have.
In June 2004, Klas introduced the KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA version 2.0.

All KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA cards supplied by Klas from June 2004 onwards will be KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA v2.0 cards.

The format of the serial number (found on the back of the card) is "KH_M4_" followed by a 5 digit numeric code i.e. KH_M4_00123.

The connector slot of the KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA v2.0 is located in the centre of the card (see pictured above).

The connector for the KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA v2.0 is pictured below. Compare this picture with the connector on your KlasHopper M4 PCMCIA to determine which version of the card you have.
