HSD Dialing Features
Manual Dial
- To configure the Felcom for manual dialing, two changes have to be made on the High Speed Data's Switch panel.
- To access this panel, unfasten two screws on the front of the High Speed Data modem. Turn off switch number 1 on the left and number 3 on the right.

- Plug in a telephone to the TEL socket which has been assigned number 01 on the rear of the MES. ( This is normally TEL 1.)
- Dial as follows.

Prefix for a HSD Call: 59 (64 Kbps)
Land Earth Station code: 004 (EIK Telenor)
Inmarsat prefix: 00
KLAS SERVER Number: 353 1 8014034 (Please contact Klas Support at support@klasonline.com to confirm this number)
To finish dialing: #- When you hear the "HSD call successful" tone hang up the hand set.
Hot Dial
- To configure the Felcom for hot dial, two changes have to be made on the High Speed Data's Switch panel.
- To access this panel, unfasten two screws on the front of the High Speed Data modem. Turn off switch number 1 on the left and number 3 on the right.

KlasHopper
The Felcom terminal supports two HSD ports, so you can choose either a KlasHopper 200 (RS-232, DB-25) card, or a KlasHopper 400 (RS-449, DB-37) card to connect your Windows PC to the terminal. Use standard PC applications over satellite links.
Note: The Felcom 82a terminal supports RS-449 DB-37.
