Section 1: HSD Dialing Features

Manual Dial

1. Pick up the Handset.
2. Dial a 56 or 64 before the number you are dialing.
3. Dial 00 - this code tells the Inmarsat satellite that you are placing a direct dialed call.
4. Dial the country code, even if you are calling from that country.
5. Dial the city code.
6. Dial the number.
7. Press the # key.

Hot Dial

1.    Enter a prestored HSD number. Press the up/down arrow key until "Set Prestored Digits" is highlighted in the HSD CONFIGURATION table. Press the key.

2.    Press the up/down arrow key until "Set DTR Digits" is highlighted in the SET PRESTORED DIGIT table. Press the key.

3.    Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight a digit from 0 - 9. Press to select the number.
4.    Use the left/right arrow keys to move the underscore left or right.
5.    Key in the digits

§        64 00

§        country and city code, e.g. 1 353

§        local number, e.g. 6062000

§        
  

§         press .  

6. Connect a communication device to HSD port on the Glocom.
7. Start a HSD call from the communication device.
8. Connect to the ISDN Server.
9. Transfer data using the communication device at 64kbps.

KlasHopper 400 (RS-530, DB-25 interface) connects any Windows PC to a GlobalPhone-B2. Use standard PC applications over satellite links.
